So yesterday, May 2nd, 2012 marked ten years that my husband and I have been together. So I made him this awesome banner. Know what he said when he came home form work and saw it? “Oh look. You made a banner.” Errr…. so I said “I made YOU a banner!” and he said, “Yeah. Crafts aren’t really my love language.” haha. They are totally mine. No worries, my husband is wonderful and appreciated that I made it. He just doesn’t get all jump-up-and-down excited for crafts like I do. But, I decided to share our sign with those of you who will get all jump-up-and-down excited to show your appreciation.
This was a super simple project. I cut 7 rectangles of scrapbook paper and then cut the bottoms off (which became the triangles.) Then I got some gift-wrapping ribbon (not curling ribbon with ridges, but the smooth kind… thought the ridges kind would work too I suppose) and sewed the paper to the ribbon.
Here’s some photos for those of us (yep, me too) who are visual learners:
Have a banner day coming up? Get it?! haha. Man, I am funny. What banner day do you have coming up?If you make a banner, please share.
