Since moving back to the US we have had a TON of things to think about – finding housing and jobs, and a car, etc. etc. The other day I looked at Little Girl’s wardrobe and realized that although she is 3 1/2 years old most of her cold weather clothing with still 2T because that was the last time she was in cold weather! And by cold I am obviously talking about California winters… so like 40-60 degrees, mostly sunny, with scattered showers. (Compared to Roatan, CA winters a freezing!) Since her clothing is so small I have been pulling up her socks to meet her leggings and then having her wear boots <– true confessions right here guys, just keepin’ it real. So, like every other part of my life, it was time for an upgrade. So this budget-savvy mama hit up the Old Navy’s Kids & Baby sale. Check out all the the cuteness I got for Little Girl on the cheap:
Two Jackets, a cute side-tie t-shirt, these amazing neon jeans, two pairs of leggings, and the MOST amazing pair of gold topsiders.
Can we just talk about these shoes? I am pretty sure they will go with EVERYTHING. I wish Old Navy made them in adult sizes. Sigh. I went shopping without Little Girl since I know Old Navy fits Little’s body type (tall and thin) really well and because as every toddler mom knows, shopping alone is like heaven. No whining, no things being grabbed off racks, & no potty breaks every 15 minutes. So nice.
I got everything on an amazing sale. Everything was 25-40% off. Momma loves a sale! Thankfully, Little Girl loved everything I chose. I am reveling in this because I know that will not last for many more years. Soon she will be choosing her own clothing at stores. cringe.
Check out Little Girl in her new outfit, so stinkin’ adorable!
When I showed Little the outfit she instantly said: “My new shoes! I love them!” That’s my girl.
