One of our family’s favorite desserts is Candy Apple Nachos and since we are DIY’ers we do a Candy Apple Nacho Bar where you build it yourself. It is very easy and super fun. Or as my 4 year old describes it “tasty and delicious.” I agree with her assessment 100%.
I love to buy produce at Smart and Final because their prices are amazing and the produce is always fresh.
Plus, I can pick up everything I need in one spot. Right now, their fall decor items are ridiculously well priced. And they have Indian Corn and HUGE pumpkins. So cool.
Here’s what you will need for Apple Nachos
Prep Time: 5 minutes Feeds: 8 people
4 Apples (Red Delicious or Granny Smith)
1 Nestle Crunch Bar (or 2-3 fun-sized)
1 Nestle 100 Grand Bar (or 2 fun-sized)
1 Nestle Butterfinger Bar (or 2 fun-sized)
1 bag Nestle Raisinets
1 handful chopped almonds
1. Thinly slice apples and place onto individual plates, one for each person
2. Chop all candies and almonds
3. Place candies, almonds, and caramel sauce into separate dishes
4. Set all ingredients at table and let people build their own!
Evan made his into a little pizza with 4 separate favor combos:
Ava showed so much self restraint, only choosing two toppings – WHAT?!
I tried a little of everything
This is my fav combo: Caramel, chopped almonds, and Raisinets!
We cleaned our plates… it was SO yummy!
What toppings would you choose?
