Hello loves and Happy Friday! It’s one of my favorite days of the week because I look forward to Saturday with my family. Last Saturday was Ava’s 5th Birthday party. It was a blast. But sometimes I am amazed at the mess a party can bring. Especially a party of 10 five year olds! But I think I may be to blame because I allowed the kids to have the messiest things known to man kind:
It was so much fun. Sidewalk chalk, beaded friendship bracelets, confetti, and sugar. And the mess? Well, the mess is all worth it. My house looking like a confetti/ My Little Pony / gift explosion? Totally worth it. We had 4 things break at the party and you know what? I totally didn’t stress. The birthday aftermath was a #HappiMess because the kids had fun, the partents talked, family got together. I wouldn’t trade a clean kitchen, clean living room, clean anyroom for the laughter and joy that comes from everyone being together. Why do people treat mess like it’s a bad thing? It’s actually the evidence of a life well lived. When you’re out there making, creating, doing and playing, embrace your #HappiMess and let Delta kitchen and bath innovations help clean up so you can do it all again tomorrow.
